Introduction

Jay Jin is the headstrong teenage rebel, determined to prove she's serious about making art. J. Max is the tall debonair foreigner, in Korea on business, with more--much more--to his background than he lets on. On the surface, it would seem as though Jay and J. have nothing in common...until a chance encounter in a hotel lobby sparks a mysterious attraction. Will true love prove strong enough to overcome the language barrier, not to mention the thousands of miles separating two attractive people? Then there are the interventions of friends and family who think they know best... as well as a disastrous encounter with spicy chicken kebab! A giddy romantic fable for our ever-shrinking world, 100% Perfect Girl demonstrates the power of chemistry to conquer all.

100% PERFECT GIRL VOL: 10
REVIEWED BY: SANDRA SCHOLES

The plot thickens with Jay and Lennox as he wants to know why she cried out Jarte's name in her sleep. As Lennox is the one looking after her and making sure she stays alive, he thinks she should show a little gratitude. He sees her devotion to a man who he sees as being a controlling type who hurt her some time ago makes him mad - especially when he considers himself a much better man, one he believes is more suited to her. Jay though sees differently, her heart is somewhere else, even if she tells Lennox that she views Jarte as nothing more than a friend. She does not want to see him hurt however, and finds it unbearable that he wants to see him dead.

Lennox has already driven his words through to her like deadly knives by telling her she signed a contract with him to say that he owned her completely - Jay can't get over the fact that she did exactly that and still feels so close to Jarte. Even though her fate is supposedly sealed and she is bound to him, he finds he cannot control her in the way he desires. This in turn makes him increasingly angry, and his hatred to Jarte shows in every word he speaks about him. Her denial that she loves Jarte is only a small part of the story as she is defiant toward the man who now protects her, and she desires the man, Jarte who once protected her before.

They both have a lot to sort out, her denial is just one of the problems while Lennox has to deal with her love for Jarte, and how he always protected her before. Wann has brought a complex story to life in this recent volume, her art is shockingly amazing and pours out of the pages. The content is wild enough to keep the reader wanting more as they go on - realising that Jay is much less perfect that even she thinks she is.
One aspect of Wann's art many will like is how she leaves in the pencil marks in her work and inks over them. It can be seen when she draws eyes, noses and mouthes and looks really classy.

IN SUMMARY: Sensual, seductive and perfect for every girls bedtime read - Wann's writing and artwork is superb and engaging.

A Complete Set!

Thank you for publishing volume 11! Even though I purchased the last few chapters here, it's so nice to have all the books. I love Wann's art so much; it's simply stunning. Love the story, too. It's one I will read again and again.

WHERE IS VOLUME 11?!
milkduds    06/24/10 02:07
Hello!!! If your going to publish books in book format atleast publish the books as a complete set. I have vol 1-10 and I'm very pissed off that volume 11, the LAST volume, is a no show!

Farewell 100%...it's been a good reading

It's bittersweet that my beloved series has finally come to an end--yet, at the same moment, it's about time...Like what most have overtly already expressed the ending product has deviated much from the beginning. The first couple volumes took readers into a fantastical love story. I fell in love with 100% because of the early storyline. Unfortunately, the strong story became diluted with the following volumes. But when it comes down to it, I will always look back at 100% as a dear series. At least it ended with a happy ending. Now, I want to see another (and more happier) series from Wann, or perhaps a follow-up story of Lennox or Kairen, or etc. To those faithful reviewers, thanks for some of the deep insights. Hope to trade thoughts with you on the next Wann series. :D
