3H Before Kiss is a romance story about the struggles involved in maintaining a long-distance relationship. Keiko and Shun are a young couple only able to visit each other once a month. During these visits, they make sure to make up for lost time in as many pleasurable-and increasingly creative-ways as possible. When Keiko finds a receipt from a love hotel in her boyfriend Shun's pocket, however-a hotel that she has never visited-doubt and suspicion begin to take hold of her imagination. Her worst fears seem to be confirmed when Shun mentions his new "friend" Kiku, a pretty, flirtatious girl in Shun's music club who is all too popular with the boys. Keiko, meanwhile, has her own share of trouble resisting temptation while Shun is away. Told from both lovers' perspectives, Three Times Before the Kiss is a stark, frank story that humorously portrays the familiar world of college romance.

Keiko
Keiko is a sweet high-school student trying to maintain a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend. Kind, adventurous, and above all, trusting. She misses her boyfriend terribly, and dreams up different ways to make their time worth their while when they finally do get to see each other. Her loyalty is put to the test when her friends try to drag her out on a blind date; will she remain faithful, or will the strain of a long-distance relationship finally take its toll?
Shun
Keiko's boyfriend, he's a "perfect gentleman during the day" but the nighttime, well, that's another story. His sex drive knows no bounds, and every time he sees his girlfriend, he definitely gets his fill for the month. Despite his best intentions, he seems to be a bit of a knucklehead and oblivious when it comes to dealing with his girlfriend. When a new wardrobe and a mysterious receipt in his pocket threaten Keiko's trust, Shun's really going to have to turn up the charm to keep his girlfriend!
read chapter 1 to 5 out of sheer desperation... and it didnt fail to disappoint. chapter 1 and 2 is one story - it was ok at best. chapter 3 and 4 is one story and that just left me confused - at the end of chapter 4,, it just left me with one reaction - "huh?! is that it?". and chapter 5, all i can say is .. "what a waste of a perfectly good $0.25..
I guess I should have surmised that from the summary but I decided to give it a chance. The first two chapters were not funny, not cute and a total waste of time. I'm not even interested enough to see if it gets better in the next chapter.
I enjoy shoujo manga; I just prefer it with a real plot.
This story is surprisingly fun and lighthearted. For a shonen ai manga I'm actually quite pleased. Typically, I only really like manhwas because I feel that they're a lot more mature and have deeper and more complex storylines. On that note, I think Netcomics has struck again by picking yet another quality manga. The art style is standard, but I'd say it's above par in the sense that it has some really quirky and cute moments punctuated by some outrageous outfits. This manga deals with some of the more difficult topics in a relationship, namely trust, betrayal, and everything that falls in between. I'm surprisingly pleased with 3H Before Kiss, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment of the series!
