KINGDOM OF SELFISH LOVE

This five chapter set is set off by Kingdom of Selfish Love, a vibrant story about Kavi and Rhane who are out one day seeing the sights, when Kavi spots a slave caravan transporting a female who looks like she is being mistreated. Rhane sees it as his duty to rescue her, but Kavi advises if he wants to do that he will have to buy her, as that will be the only logical way.
As he won't do as he wishes Rhane orders him to get her as the future king of Sencrysia, but when Kavi states they are not in Sencrysia, there are bound to be communication problems.
As they go to visit Uncle Arture, Rhane sees he has lost weight, and the compliments he gets back are amazing to him - as well as Kavi, but he sees that they are imposing on his kindness even though he likes to have them visit.
After a meal, though Rhane is not prepared for what his uncle tells him about the kingdom of Sencrysia, as while he has been gone on a tour of the world, everyone in the palace thought he had left for good and a new ruler had been appointed, Duran who is not even a real heir to the bloodline, and who has made life difficult for the poorer in the city. This one is a cruel and heartless ruler, and now that Rhane is back he has missed out on the traditional ritual of the kingdom. One such ritual makes him feel ashamed as he is drugged and used by others at the palace that night. Kavi sees it as the last straw and arranges for them to leave that very night for Sencrysia.
When they spot the slave caravan from before, Rhane decides to buy the girl they saw earlier only to find something truly unexpected - the one called Nandy is a boy!
One of the things that will strike the reader straight away are the lovely sketches at the beginning of the story and also in between the story as it moves on. They are sketches of the main characters, and give a more personal look to the novel with their rough outlined style and humorous natured facial expressions they make it also an added extra for the readers.
Rhane is the victim in this manga, as are the poor males who suffer at the hands of Duran the puppet leader. It will almost make the reader feel that Rhane should not have come back to his home where so much has changed, but they will also warm to the sensuality and kinky nature of this yaoi. Unlike many readers will have read, there is a lot of powerful dialogue given out by Rhane and his unlucky friends in the story, which many will find intensely gripping to read in the long term.
The art style is bold and hard out lined, giving the impression the characters have endured a great deal yet maintained their inner strength.
Included as a bonus manga is the sensual yet short story Genie's Pawn where a young boy is left to die in a cave by Madin, the son of the Chieftain for stealing bread when he is found by a djinn of great power who offers him an easy option out, or so he thinks until he realises he wants him to marry a man in return for his freedom.
The story has the classic genie and human scenario written for adults with the run of the mill bits left out – this is fun and inspired well enough by the Arabian Nights tales most readers will have grown up with and this is a sexy twist.
IN SUMMARY: Kingdom of Selfish Love is a raunchy and stylish jaunt into yaoi fantasyland that many will truly appreciate.
I kinda liked Kingdom of Selfish love.It's not one of my favorite boys love but it was alright.
I really wish the author went further with the
second story "Genie's Pawn" it was really good.
The drawings leaves much to be desired but I liked it anyway.
but the order of the pages(in chapter 2) seems wrong. One particular page showed up twice, and some other pages popped up in the wrong places, but you still get the general gist of it
