Ok, i almost feel sorry for GaYoon except he treated ChaEun so badly for so many years, he wasn't 'faithful' to ChaEun, he didn't even properly confess earlier on before doing all sorts of things, and he never even tried to earn or gain ChaEun's respect or trust because he just relied on ChaEun's obsession (which maybe he assumed to be devotion and adoration). But, MoonHoo was much kinder and sweeter to ChaEun from the start so the ending is just okay or mediocre for me. He was a major jerk and didn't follow any clear morals or principles, but by being so over-powered I guess GaYoon got used to gettinf away with a bad attitude .... I still would have liked a bit more redemption of GaYoon, although, some is better than none (he wasn't just a blind rapist, but actually had some 'sincere' possessive concern for ChaEun ... Not sure I would identify it as love or even like, but for GaYoon's personality it was something).

I love all Yoo Ha Jin’s work. I bought 2 of her works here. I slightly prefer this story more over “his house”. This story is as epic as “Totally Captivated”. Loved it!!!

Legitimately love this series of short stories. Wann uses science fiction and fantasy to tell stories that explore different facets of love, romantic and maternal, mortal and immortal, straight and gay and beyond. The characters are so well-defined, even in the short format, that the reader winds up caring deeply for them and what happens. Great stories, great early Wann art. Highly recommend this series!

Early Wann, so you can see her style develop. Fun depiction of modern life from three different urban, urbane career women in Seoul from about 15 years ago, but also has some antiquated, deeply `80s takes on men and women that skeeved me out with how awful the attitudes towards men and women were. So, yeah, just like “Sex and the City”, including spending lots of time on fashion (some of the gendered takes in that section are so old, they’re covered in mold and rust), and depicting women unabashedly enjoying sex. This series ends better than that show did, which says something for Wann’s superior writing and better takes on the future of how men and women will relate. Interesting, kinda sexy series with funny, compelling characters that probably captures life from fifteen years ago pretty well, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth sinking a ton of money into. Rent, don’t buy, and try to get that discount.

Too short to grasp of what's happening...let us actually hook up in the stories first before locking it

I didn't expect her personality to be like that, I thought she was going to be serious. I kind of like it, appearances are not what they seem. Also I love the art.
